The title pretty much explains it all.
Posted this last night on the bottle area, thought I had posted here as well.

That's what you get for doing anything at 1:00 in the morning)
First time out really detecting, after moving from Colorado.
(Have done a couple of beach hunts, not the relic searching that I prefer).
Dug a small handful of silver, including a sweet 1926 S.L.
A Toasted Buffalo was cemented to a 191? Merc, had to soak awhile before they would separate.
Definitely different soil than what I'm used to, all the silver would be heavily encased in soil.
Thinking the gold heart is plated, still too encrusted to tell 100%
This Coke was sticking half out of the mud.
Amazed that the backhoe hadn't destroyed it, he crushed a few other bottles.
It's a straight sided, clear Coca-Cola, from what I've read, 1909 (Has the #247 on the bottom)
No idea to it scarcity, only saw one mention online.
Any new info would be gratefully appreciated, and thanks for viewing!

When I lived in Sarasota I only found cool stuff when I would go to Bradenton.
Too many people hunting Sarasota, too much new construction wiping out all the old land.

I'm glad somebody is finding stuff elsewhere :D

Love it all !!! How old are the wings ?

I like that bottle a lot. I’ve been getting into them more and more. My wife’s just told me to quit buying them and go find some!!

The wings in the upper left are U.S. Navy/Marine jump wings .Probably adopted in the 60s.You would have to have ten parachute jumps to earn them.

Very good hunt, great finds, congrats!

Very nice .Congrats :coffee2:

Nice finds! Nice silver and really nice SLQ! :icon_thumleft:

Wow! Very rewarding hunt with some excellent saves. I like the bottle. That’s the first I’ve ever seen like that. The wings are nice and silver is always welcome. Congrats

Congratualtions on the nice old coins! :occasion14:

Congrats Carl! Some good finds there! You'll be digging up older stuff in no time. Welcome to the Deep South! :)

That SLQ looks like it was dropped in 1926....but I still favor the coke, those are hard to find unbroken.

wow tons of treasure jeeze well done now find that gold dubloon

Thanks!
It's lonely down here, really miss the best detecting partner I ever could have.
She could have sweet talked the owner into letting us dig for the privy!
