Today in Missouri the sun finally came out and it was in 50-s so I went to a local river spot and found a quarter and 5 pennies, HeHaw that got me pumped for spring. This was actually my first ever hunt outside of my yard. Im using a Garrett Ace 250 and getting familiar with the beep sound A few more outings and Ill gain confidence and search better areas. Im happy none the less with todays find. Good Luck All

Gets more addictive as you go man.....be careful....lol. Most important part is you had fun and enjoyed yourself!

Just got my 2nd GOLD ring today and it just makes you want to get out there and keep hunting!

I went again around an old bar/cathouse lol (if ya get my drift) and found several dimes and quarters and a bunch of pennies. Oldest was 1968 so I havent found silver YET but Im having fun and getting addicted. Ill let ya know if I find silver. Im going soon to an old campsite from 1867 so I could find something good there. Its in a town called Dixon Missouri.

Howdy neighbor, I'm just down the road from you a ways in Lebanon. I'm also very new to this, as a matter of fact I just got my Fisher F2 MD yesterday and only used it a few minutes in my front yard. I may go hunting tomorrow with a friend to try to learn some stuff. Maybe we'll meet up sometime...Bob in Lebanon MO

Sounds like a fabulous ring, wow! Congrats! If ya want to post photos but don't like cameras, most objects show pretty well just by using your computer scanner. Andi

Havent been doing a lot due to cold and snow. Found another gold ring and sold them both for $16.50 a gram and afterwards found if Id put them in envelope and mailed to one of those buying places Id got $26.50 a gram. Lesson learned. Went out today and sporadic sun so wasn't all that bad but was cold. Found a lot of change and several necklace trinkets. kinda cool looking. Tomorrow Im gonna search the Trail of Tears in Waynesville Missouri I have permission to hunt the 23 acres the Shrine Club owns and has major biker rallies and concerts. Might be some good finds there and Ill come back and let everyone know.
