Found a few odds and ends and about $4 in clad. The circle I found I think its some type of makeup compact because it has a hinge on the side of it I could be wrong though... Not bad coming out of a place of already searched... :-)

Nice! Glad your enjoying your new F2! Hope you start bringing home tons of goodies with it! GL. HH!

Nice finds, good luck with your awesome new machine, I hear they are great machines.

You didn't actually say if you liked it, but only one day is not quite long enough.
Don't know what BH model you had, but with #IDs you won't have to dig a lot pull tabs from now on if you don't want to, at least the most common type I believe are #37 on F2.

I'd agree probably a compac.

Yea im still learning the whole number system. But so far i like it... :-)

I started getting my best and deepest finds when I started running on max sensitivity and zero disc. Best to hear everything that's beneath you and its easy to pick the good targets from bad. I highly recommend the 11" dd coil for it if you don't already have it. :)

cool stuff bhg86, don't know what part of Indiana you are from but a good town to find stuff is in plymouth. The centenial park was once a camp for our civil
war boys and the yellow river was a form of transportation. I had great sucess back in the 70's there. HH

Congrats on your new machine! :icon_thumleft: If the compact is smaller than usual, it could've been a rouge compact as those used to be popular. Have Fun! Andi

Ive been wanting a bigger coil like that but they are expensive...

You will do fine without it for now. Just remember to over lap your swings because the coil field is like a cone from your regular coil so only a small portion in the middle of your coil is deep. Later on you can upgrade to a detector with a dd or if you like the f2 order a dd for that. The 10" coil isn't bad either and it's half the price of the dd. also remember to keep your cell phone away or off If possible because it can make the f2 chatter.
