Hi all, just returned from branching from the hot spot which has starting getting cold. For two hours I dug junk and then I found my first relic of the day which was a three ringer, about a foot away I had another signal which I figured to be more can slaw when from about 8 inches I spy a breast plate with no plow marks!:icon_thumright:

I have seen these before on Tnet ,youtube, other forums and a friend has one in a display case. I have always wanted to dig one. Today was a good day.
I also found an I cuff button ,some lead and an Indian knife/scraper. Thanks for looking and HH. :coffee2:

It's a great feeling to see a plate popping out of the ground. Congrats & HH!

One of the best feelings in the world is popping a plate out of the ground. I certainly agree with VOL 1266. These are hard to find with the iron hooks intact.

Yeap, if I was your side of the pond it would be a target of mine to, congrats it looks in great shape.

Very Nice Plate,:headbang:. Been busy myself, but wanted to let ya know,I pulled the trigger on another boat so I'm ready when you are.
Take Care,
Pete,:hello:

Yea it's going to be my inside rig.Have not got my offshore one yet but it's coming.8-) I'm ready to Buddy,I've not put the coil to the soil all fall or winter,so I'm itching. Can't promise goodies like you've been digging but will have fun looking anyway.:headbang:
Talk with ya later,
Pete,:hello:

TK , getting on the water for a bit will be just as good even without any finds.:occasion14: Can't wait and I think you were right my little 4hp would not make the team.

You lucky bird 12yrs and I'm still hunting for my 1st plate of any kind ;your other relics are nothing to laugh at either .I was happy to find 2 minie's yesterday.

Just got back from the same area and found almost nothing but a button back. I did score an Indian relic but that was about it.
