Welcome aboard!

Wow! Bought a detector 2 weeks ago and almost immediately ordered an ATP? Talk about getting hooked quick! LOL

Congrats!

I've been hunting a while and have yet to find a wheat leaf. Of course I tend to get distracted with relics and don't concentrate on coins and jewelry, not that I don't want to find that too! Nice find.

ya it was hook line & sinker once i got the ace 250, however i wish i would of bought the AT in the first place but the 250 will be good for getting my 12yr old step son & my pop into this great hobby.

Great. Took me a little while to break under the 40s' on the wheat cents.

Man you will love the AT Pro. I've had mine for 3 years now and it's found TONS of coins, jewelry, and recently a CSA buckle. Good luck to you!

Great first find, now you've been bitten, you'll never be the same!

An old wheatie is an excellent start - and a beginning of things to delight you :)

Awesome start! Congrats and HH!

Congrats on your first wheat penny! My oldest is a 1918! You will definitely LOVE your AT PRO.

Congrats! First of ANYTHING is always a thrill! Are you sure it isn't a "D" under the date? Philadelphia mint usually doesn't have a mark, unless it's a war nickle or special issue.

Wow a wheat for your first coin! Congrats! GL. HH!
