Yes!!! Been at it five years, same place 100 times. I've found Williams cleaner bullets, 44 cal pistol bullets, and an 1876 dime, but to my surprise ten minutes into it finding absolutely nothing bam!!! 48 on my minelab

She is beautiful, congratulations on a fantastic relic!!!!

Congrats! Beautiful buckle! That's why I dig every signal even when I'm tired of digging a hundred bad signals in a row, never know what will pop up! Congrats again. HH!

Collector, yes that's it! From now on, I'm definitely digging everything when it's been a bad hunt. I won't pass up any high number signal.

Great Find! If farmers only knew what they are running over with farm implements. :tongue3: On the other hand sometimes relics may not be discovered if they hadn't continuously turned the soil. HH

I'd send it to either Robert or Roland. I just sent three relics to Robert. First time dealing with him, and he is a miracle worker that has done many, many restorations for Tnet members. He must be contacted by phone, not email, and you just send the relics (insured) and call him a week later for a quote on the restoration. It's certainly worth 50-100 bucks to have your beautiful plate restored. Here's a link to my post of the three relics I got back in the mail from him today:

The plates I restored are not worth anywhere near what yours is worth, but I just can't stand to see relics in a case that have been demolished like that. No need to be worried about either Robert or Roland. Both are trustworthy, and have many incredible relic restorations to their credit.

Best Wishes,

Buck

IMO any CSA or USA Civil War plate should be automatic banner, thing is, it will be a banner day/find forever in your memory. For me, I have finds that I know others don't appreciate like I do, I have finds in my memory that are banner, that others would laugh at me for thinking that. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and your plate is perfect just the way it is.
Congrats!

Treble you are correct! Thanks, love it. Already been back there a few times, no luck. Now just to wait for winter, dirt will be softer, signals will get deeper. I've always dreamed of finding one, but now it's here. Now for that elusive dollar piece, or fifty cent piece. Preferably 1800's lol

Yea, life's a garden that's me. I farm this land, an everytime I disk an row up I walk them rows. Alot of finds would never be found otherwise.

1 of my buddies would Kill for that find!!!!!!!!!! Congrats
