I don't pull many nickels...I've probably pulled about 50 nickels in 6 months, three or four of which have been V nickels and two of which have been war nickels...so i've gotten lucky with good nickels. But no buffalos yet...until today. No date unfortunately.

Also got a 1909 barber dime in pretty good shape and an interesting 1980 bermuda penny with a pig on the reverse

50 nickels in 6 months is actually pretty good. Many people ignore nickel tones, but I really enjoy buffs and V's.

Where you find those nice coins ?

Gotta love a buffalo. You go to the right places, many times you will pull m ore nickles than dimes, since many just dig high tones. Congrats on another great day. :occasion14: You pulled 3 nice keepers.

more nice coin finds. congrats on first buff. Nice looking dime.

I pull many nickels in almost every hunt, looking for the gold. But only a single buffalo this year so far. Heck I dug more V's then buffaloes :)
