I can't believe it. I was in my neighbors 50x60ft yard again tonight. I hunted for about an hour or so. I dug around 10 targets- 2 wheat cents 1930/1940, a large cent (1852 I think), a tool tag, and two mercs (1923 and 1942)!!!! I have spent hours and hours in this yard this summer. It is extremely small for the amount of things I have found. That's the 5th and 6th silver, probably 15 wheats, my first Indian, and that large cent plus a few tokens and an old nice pin so far this summer! It really speaks to paying your dues in the time spent learning your detector aspect. Also I pulled every piece of crap out of that yard so all I get now is old targets. I have to have dug over 125 targets out of this small yard. And while I know many on here will give me the "don't ruin the yard/our hobby post" I have full permission to treat the yard as my own, but I do take care of it including watering the plugs at the end of the night. I won't lie though part of the yard is crab grass and does not take well to being dug up. It takes this part a week or so to turn green again. Anyways, I run my AT pro on max sensitivity now since there's no junk. I love this hobby. HH!

Nice tag! And looks like you found it right down the street from where I'm at (Baldwin)
yeah I'm in elizabeth but will be up sru next week until December then moving out of state but you can bet wherever I go my detector will be with me! Haha I'm excited because I get to travel a lot with my job so I will be getting to detect all across the US.

Nice digs there, love those round tags myself ! Some mines have check in tags for their workers also, think that I have a couple of those. Heres some various tags I have found over the years.

Nice!!! I spent a lot of time at court time in Elizabeth this year. My daughter plays basketball for their travel team. Good luck on your move and now you can let me in on some good spots down your way ;)

Also has anyone found a lot of these tool tags? This is my 4th in the last few weeks.
Mine is much newer, but I'm attaching a pic. Some say a tool tag, another said a cow ear tag. That may make sense just because it was a 1930's cow ranch. I know there are a lot of tool tags that look like this but just thought I'd throw it out there

BTW- nice double silver/LC day!!!! Nice work !

-Lady Liberty is hot stuff...especially on a coin

there's a lot of history in the area but I spent most of my time in family and neighbors yards. My best and most of my finds came from one small yard it was absolutely amazing and kept me busy all summer

Two silver in one week would make me happy, two in one day and id have a heart attack.
I learned a lot about my machine over summer and got a lot of junk out of that yard to find the goodies. 5 silvers in total but spread out weeks apart out of the small yard.
