Nice break in the weather, so out walking around town. They're always building some new housing, bring more people in. Not for us that live here who couldn't begin to afford a million dollar townhome, but for people who can afford it and I have no idea what they do for a living. (And this snow doesn't melt off til about May, GWW, haha!)

They've been building higher up around here in recent years. Though I have heard the Colorado boom is tapering off slightly.

Colorado is beautiful. My wife and I considered relocating there a few decades ago, but it was way too expensive even then. I shudder to think how it is now. Absolutely beautiful country though.

They over built in Denver TR, and I heard rents are dropping. Not here. robertk you can make a lot of money here. You can work as many jobs as you want, also. Your income may look fabulous compared to where you come from, but cost of living knocks it down. You got a couple million lying around you can buy a place, and good luck finding something to rent. I have no idea how people with kids make it here. One thing, if you pay attention and manage your money, like just me and the wife, you can come out slightly ahead. My goal is to eventually get the hell out of here, buy a place in the San Luis valley and never see another tourist unless they're lost.

Yeah I can only think about getting outta here, but I'd probably have to leave mama behind, because none of this over population bugs her like it does I. The SLV would be a hugh difference to where you're at now.
