Finds Question?

Two. And I wouldn't have found the second one had I not rescaned the dirt before I put it back. 99.9% of the time there is only one coin so when we find it, we kick the dirt back in the hole and move on. Get in the habit of scanning the dirt AFTER you find the target. You won't find more in the hole because the signal is gone - that's why you quit digging.

I have found as many as 17 in one hole and one time in a 4ft x 4ft area i got 155 pennies and quit digging before I got them all.

82 78 modern Roosie dimes and four modern Washington quarters.

I was detecting an old farm house site. I had just passed over a 12" tree stump that had been cut off flush with the ground and got a large signal on the other side of the stump. They were in ~ 12" circle and 1 - 4" deep. Thought maybe some one put a jar or a bank in the ground but did not find any remains. It was fun, just wish they would have been silver!

Previous record was 15.

I recently dug up a crumpled piece of paper that contained 7 dimes and 3 pennies on the beach.

Six pennies, just a couple of days ago at the base of a tree...
