Collection of finds from a couple different sites visiting my parents a few days last week in VA. Many buttons. Some quite early. Tombac and some ornate flat buttons. Couple Civil War relics mixed in more towards bottom right corner of collection shot. Several items not in case. Cannonball chunk! Scripted "I" button. 1851 3 cent piece! Virginia State button. Several coins. Eagle militia button too I believe. Badge is from 1907 Jamestown Exposition. Enjoy! HH!

Cool finds. Whats the rectangular piece with the cut out under the green coins in the top right corner ? I found something like it. Mine is pretty thin brass, but the same shape.

Wow awesome few days! Interesting that mass militia button made it down there. Would love to know the story of its travels. Congrats!
