I visited a new site over the weekend (early 1900's farm house and barn). Didn't find any coins but came away with a few interesting items and some firsts for me. I had to fight through about 4 inches of snow yet covering the ground but it was worth it. If you would like to see a MIB image of the Hubley Cap Gun (I think circa 1940ish) go here:
Nichols Industries, Inc. - Other Toy Cap Gun Brands
This is my first 925 silver wedding band for 2013 so I hope its just the beginning. What's left of the pocket watch was also a first in my 30 years of MDing. When I have time I'm going to try and clean it up a little better to see if I can find a makers mark. Its a little fragile having many of the gears still in place.
I believe the snow is now all gone so a trip back could prove quite interesting. I'll see if I can find the rest of the toy gun and hopefully some coinage. HH to you guys.
