I got today and decided to take a drive down through Kentucky on Rt 7 and see if I could find a field to hunt. I had one place in mind since I had been there before but when I drove by it was all in pasture and full of cattle so I went on down the road. I noticed a couple of fields off to the left so I turned up the road and drove until I saw a house. I asked the old guy that came to the door if I could look through the fields and he said sure, no problem. There was a decent sized creek running beside the fields and the field was full of rock from the old creek bed. I did find one spot the wasn't to rocky and that's where all of the finds from this site were found.

The first piece I found was the little red Knive in the first two pics. I literally saw it as soon as I opened my door to get out. I hadn't even gotten out of the vehicle and I had a find. lol

The second find was the nice little Brewerton Hafted Chisel.

The last find was the heartbreaker of the day. What would have been a really nice Kirk Corner Notch made from Carter Cave Flint has the base is broken off. I'm sure someone will say it a "Snapped Base Kirk", but all it really is is a Kirk with with the base broken off.

Still not to bad for my first trip there.

Here's a the finds from the 2nd spot I hunted. This spot is in Load, Ky and is right along another pretty good sized creek. I stopped at the house to make sure it was still alright to go out and look and after I got the okay I looked for a little bit in their garden behind there house and found the nice little Bifurcate Point. They were really surprised because that was the first point they had ever seen from their garden.

I went on down to the field and saw that the creek had been up in the field and that someone had already been there. I did manage to find two nice points though, both within a foot of each other. I saw the dark one first and after I took the picture and picked it up I saw the Birdpoint laying just to the side. The only other thing I found there was the small Knife.
