Finds from 2013 fall Relic Rescue hunts

We just wrapped up two great hunts here in VA. The first hunt our group of diggers recovered near 20 plates and buckles! And some great Buttons!
My wife found a complete US spur her first one.

The second dig revealed a pile of Yankee camp relics for most everyone and some confederate items mixed in,

I dug a beautiful hut on the second dig and scored a saber opened ginger beer and some relics. The rocks were hard on the glass in that hole as there were 3 broken whiskeys too.

We have plans for spring digs in the works! It's a great time!

So far yes in central va
We are looking into other areas as well!

I'm like Old Stonewall here, actually live in Central VA and have never seen/heard anything about this until now. My wife and I might would like to join the next one that comes up. ~J~
