Not as long of a hunt in the dump as I wanted to but the low section was still underwater from a wet week. Found the tea cup shard with the cool Asian pattern, the mason jar liner, the crystal dish finial, the piano insulator and the small amber bottle just scraping at the wall of trash farther up hill. Assuming that was a Pennsylvania licence plate? The lock mechanism was washed out by the rain. There are earlier bottles in here somewhere. Lots of old shards point to that especially the Lydia pinkham's vegetable compound shard and the 1890s amber tonic bottle I found here in june. Found the pot metal furniture foot and that twisted piece of metal in a park near by. The twisted piece actually has a nice pattern on it. No clue what it was. Didnt dig much after that as was looking for surface hightones due to a silver dollar a neighbor told me his kid lost near the stream during a scavenger hunt. Never did find it. If I do the guy told me i can keep it.
*I did find other bottles but very common 1930s -1950s stuff. My girlfriend repurposes the common wide mouth ones for flower arranging. Only reason I save them. She like the little ones for her shelf. And exploring here.
