Finding only clad got you down?...There's help...see photo

I use eBay.....and the last 60 dollars worth of clad I found here...I took to the bank and got "real" money for....and bought these coins for my "keeper" box. The postage was included in these purchases. Shop carefully, and buy what you don't find. It's not quite the same...and it takes longer...but these pieces of silver are mine now nonetheless.

I have a whole new perspective on finding clad.

I'm happy to be able to say that I bought these coins......with junk money that I found. It's almost as good as digging them. The best part is that I can buy that which I don't find...larger silver.

In the last 5 weeks I've found 44 silver coins....and 40 of those were dimes. I don't mind that....it's still silver. Not finding spectacularly old and rare coins doesn't make me less of a detectorist. I don't need to make up tales to boost my ego. I'm happy with my silver dimes. I get the same thrill when I pop a merc out of the ground today, as I did 20 years ago. It's never diminished...not even a little bit.

I was wondering if the comment made by "relic" would bring any kind of response. Those members who post pictures of finds they really did not dig up while claiming they did, are only hurting themselves. It's a Karma thing & I tend to take people here at TreasureNet at their word.

Instead of making accusations that will most certainly bruise someone's feelings, maybe relic would make better use of his time paying attention in his spelling class. ;) Stay in Skool !! ;D

Wyatt ... stick to your plan. You should have a great collection in no time at all. 8)
