Yesterday, I read this success story and it brought tears to my eyes.

A while later I was walking downtown and say a penquin, you know, one of the Nun kinda people. So I stopped her and told her about you and how history turned your life around. She said that she was a teacher and was impressed too.

The I gave her a 5-spot and asked if she could light a candle or something...maybe say a few words and she nodded her head. She kept looking at the 5-spot and had tears in her eyes, so I walked away. Later I say the penquin her walked into a bar.

Great story, it's kinda funny how many of us hated history class and now after were all done with school we look for all the history we can find. Took me 4 years of failing history and having to go back for another year to finally pass that class. Never saw the importance of it when I was in school, now I kinda wish I would have paid more attention.

Man Ed you ROCK! You are so right, what did we care in school about things that happened so long ago, when your'e 10-12 years old 100 years ago was unthinkable. Now we hope we make it that far . That's why I think it's an important hobby to involve kids in. Let your imagination wonder who held it, who lost it, what important thing was happening when they dropped that coin, that made them lose it? Can you imagine what we would be finding if we paid attention in history class?

You should be proud, your Dad would be! Thanks so much for sharing!
