Went out again to be tortured by the MXT. We haven't learned to get along yet but we are starting to come to an understanding. Anyway, I found a bunch of junk again and a 1914s penny. It's in terrible condition but I don't care. It's the first coin I have found with this machine and I am keeping it forever.

You ain't gonna find coins with ANY detector until you search where the coins is! Do some pre-search planning and site hunting. Try a town park or fairgrounds.

I've only found two coins at my present home, built in 1985. The prior house was 1936 and had a LOT better backyard hunting (on 20 less acres!).
