Beautiful ring. Congrats on your first! The missing stone cannot be far away.

I had a similar situation years ago and I removed about one square foot of the soil surrounding my ring. I bagged it up took it home and sifted it. I was fortunate enough to find the missing baguette. It could work for you too...

I'll be back there in the morning with a colander to sift some sand

Brother Al Great advice I'll be there in the morning to do some sifting

Oh wow... I can only imagine what this would have been. What a funny first gold find. What should have been 'HOLY MOLY>>> GOLD!!" probably became "HOLY MOLY GOLD!! _ Oh.. missing the big stone."

Bittersweet for sure, but still a FANTASTIC Find! Congrats on the gold JC! That's an amazing accomplishment. Before I logged into T-Net today, I was thinking about how this hobby has it's addictive ups... and wow are they. :)

Cheers!

Skippy

Even without the big stone it is a nice looking ring, but man, when your eyes could focus again I bet you were bummed about that missing rock. Good luck on finding it!
