It has been several years since I got to hunt much less find some silver. I had gone to the 6" coil for the Nox 600 and was in Park 2. I was actually surprised to find any silver in this spot, I had hit it hard before. This day was about getting rid of more pull tabs and pull rings as well as searching for any missed coins. I ended up with about 15 pull tabs and rings plus a variety of iron and can slaw. I managed 2 clad dimes and a clad quarter. Then it was a deep signal that turned out to be a snap button or pin that was marked SWEET ORR & CO, I had never heard of them before and it was pretty toasted. Then came the 44 Merc, a total surprise as it was fairly close to 2 very large nails. This was at my old permission that has given up over 100 silvers and some gold. I really like the 6" coil, it is lighter and seems to be fairly deep too. I still have hundreds of pull tab signals to wade thru at this site but I am just getting a handful or so before passing them up. It was an awesome feeling to see the silver in the dirt again, I was pretty shot but still dug some more odds and ends before quitting. The ground had standing water and now is flooded again LOL, it is what it is. But the fire ant hills are all melted down for the moment.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I thought that I was digging a penny so it was a great surprise for me to see it as I broke the dirt clod. Sometimes you think that you have found the best to be found in an area and then you find another sweet find like this. The sheer number of pull tabs and rings reminded me of the task before me LOL.
