Finally put the puzzle together

After hunting my old fort premission I was able reconstruct a shoulder epaulet , it came out pretty good.

It's from a fort that was in use from 1851-1861

Thanks dan , like dan said the fort was in use from 1851 to 1861. So I'm thinking per- civil war era
