Man, I thought this day would never come. I have been wanting to get one of these out of the dirt for a while, a LONG while. Got a great hit, thought it was a quarter, but when that chunk of dirt came out rimmed in silver I knew it was WAY too big to be a quarter. I also picked up the '05 dime in the same hunt these make coins # 44 & 45 out of the same site. I got the mercs at the site, too, but that was sat & sun(one each day). It feels so good to get this monkey off my back, now I don't have to cry when you guys dig 'em.

Great looking silvers! It makes your heart jump a little when those halves pop out to! 8)

Thanks to all, like I said, this is a milestone I have been really trying to pass. We've hit 46 silver from this one site alone, and I KNEW there was a walker hiding there.

No more tears, Bob, I promise(unless you start shooting seated halves on a regular basis)

Holy Crap Goldfish! I dug that same coin.........same year etc.........a few weeks ago. Mine is a 1936D. What mint is yours from? The mint mark is on the back, if it has one. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exact same coin BB, although yours is in better shape. Good thing, too, the denver is worth twice the philly. I'm seeing about $15 in XF40.

Congrats. I got my first walker in Oct. so i know what you mean. nothing compares to that large silver in the ground. Love the barber too
