I agree with Steve. It's the study of relics and seeking out knowledge that separates a collector from a picker-upper of things.

Since you find a great many "small stem" tradition points, I recommend the essay Jeff included in the book, entitled "Rethinking Small Stem Points", where we learn most such points were not used as projectile points at all.
