Hey we all have to start somewhere!
Personally i like finding them!
My first coin ever was a 1919 wheatie!

Congrats and best wishes on your future hunts!

There's nothing wrong with digg'n wheats....just as easily could have been a silver. Take a pic of your next finds and share them. HH

Congratulations on scoring some wheat pennies. I still enjoy digging wheat pennies and I reckon I always will. Enough to get my juices flowing in hopes of some silver lurking in the area. Keep after it mate. There's better days ahead for you!:headbang:

Ha! I'm super happy to find anything pre-64! Congrats on your wheaties! :occasion14:

..Historical Nashville property sounds like a good place to be huntin . I would keep on swinging there . Congrats on the recoveries !!!!!

Been MDing for a month now, and finally found a couple wheat pennies. My first non-clad coins. I know you've all found thousands of them, but this was a nice feeling. Was hunting a buddy's yard in a historic part of East Nashville.
I've detected nearly 30 yrs. and believe me, I have not found thousands of them. Good job, you're on your way.

Congratulations on your wheat pennies....plural..[emoji6] Excellent! When I find pennies and I see the memorial on the back I think.."Oh...just a memorial and not a wheatie..." but some day collectors after us will be happy to find even memorials...especially since the copper covered zinc ones disintegrate. Everything and everyone has its time. Enjoy the hunt and the sharing!

Congrats on your first Wheat Pennies. Your Indians wont be to far behind !

Congrats on digging those wheats. I have low expectations and just by digging 1 wheat a day keeps me from being skunked.

We have ALL been in your shoes. You will have stories and finds. Great start to your old coin collection.

Congratualtions! :occasion14:

I'm happy for you Nashvegas! Congrats on the pair of wheats! I love them and they are getting harder to find. As these dry up I predict in the future people will be chasing the pre-82 copper memorial cents.
