Love digging that Spanish silver! Congrats!!

Congrats on your first Spanish  I wouldn't worry about cleaning it. You would be lucky to get $20.00 for it since Spanish silver coins generally aren't worth much wit a few exceptions. I would take some baking soda, add a little water to make a paste, and rub it gently between your fingers until you get the look you want. That's what I do with mine.

A more gentle method for cleaning silver with baking soda is to use the method described in the cleaning thread, with baking soda, aluminum foil and boiling water. Minimal rubbing.

That’s an awesome coin. Definitely on many bucket lists here. Congrats!

That an outstanding find. Congratulations :icon_thumright:

Congrats on your first. Hopefully more will show up shortly.

Congratulations and awesome coin I know the feeling.. I found my first 2 weekends ago

Way to go TrentonFrank! Its a beautiful coin, and certainly deserves a place of honor in your collection. Congratulations!

Congrats on your first piece of Spanish silver. I can remember finding mine like it was yesterday, and its been 8 years already. I would not clean it if I were you. I dont clean any of my silver coins, other than to water them off.
