Lately, I have been doing little walks. Time, desire, weather, etc etc etc.
Well, today I decided to take a full-fledged walk! I just wanted to see if I could still turn up things like I used to and I believe I did!

I'll let you be the judge.

I really don't know my ammo. :dontknow:

Don't know what it is but kinda reminds me of the front part of a biplane engine.

Still unsure what it is but its kinda heavy ! Any guesses?

Your finds are very whimsical.... thanks for sharing... it's good for the mind to get out and walk! Any of the 43 pennies made of copper and not steel? :)

Congratulations! What a variety, with gold and silver include! Great work!

Your doing great whadi....I think your ammo was a 223 blank round....thats the crimped top on the cartridge that tells me that. Congrats on your trifecta ring score !!

This is a very curious piece to me. Its surprisingly heavy for it's size. The backing reminds me of the backing that was on the civil war breast plate I found a while ago.

Kind of reminds me of a concrete, lead, something backing. :dontknow:

Congrats on the rings.I would garner a guess that this is a top self rosette.

Fantastic, Whadi! We do need a lil more info on the steels cents, like how found and if detected, were they surface finds/recent drops?
And isn't the Philippine dime in the middle silver?
Grats on all the keepers and thanks for sharing.

Nice finds! It's unusual to see steel pennies in such good shape. I'd expect them to be totally rusted.

I knew the steel cents would garner some attention. :)

Actually, those two were part of what I call "new drops of something old".

I went to a place where I knew there had been a large event recently. These two were part of a pocket spill on the surface. New coins and these two nestled amongst them. Somebody just didn't realize they had them in their pocket, more than likely. Truly, right out of a rather long circulation and then, on the ground. Just fortunate I came along to save them. Pretty nice condition too! Wouldn't have been had I come along in say a week or two later!

After a bit of research, yes, I do believe the 10 centavos has silver in it.

Thanks for the interest!

Just *never* know, do we? :)

That's sort of what I expected also. The pattern seems familiar to me but I'm not sure from where. :dontknow:

Thanks!
