And what a beauty she is, my first SLQ with a date!:headbang::headbang::headbang:

It’s been over a month since I’ve gotten out, really dry turf, along with peak season of other things to do, golf game still sucks though.

This permission I had hunted hard a few times before, but the Max told me there were a few things I missed.
The quarter rang up as a jumpy 78, and wasn’t too deep, maybe 5 inches... awesome.

Also, was happy to find a 1907 V nickel, practically on the surface, strange.
The Bell thing I thought was a dog tag, but it’s an advertising piece from 1910 for “Dr. Bells Pine Tar Honey”
The phrase “Cures for Coughs” along the bottom is about all that’s legible.

A WW1 cufflink, a few wheats, and a key were also rescued from the yard.

That SLQ is in awesome condition. Congrats on getting it out of its hiding spot. Sweet

That coin is a Work of Art man!:o Amazing detail and well worth the wait for such a stunning coin. You rounded out the hunt in high style as well. Who cares if you suck at golf if you can snag killer finds like these?:headbang::laughing7:

That's nice, good job. Seems like I hunt sites too old for SLQ's, have never found one but want to.

That's a great looking SLQ, congrats :headbang:

I average about one per year, but don't think I've ever managed to get one with a date yet :dontknow:

Way to go Dave, congrats!

Awesome looking SLQ. Big congrats Dave.

She is a beauty BWD!! Congratulations on the SLQ and the other cool relics!

Man BWD, That is really a beautiful SLQ! That is almost like it never had many touches as sharp as it is. You had a great hunt, you may have hit that place hard but it held something nice for an early 2018 find!:icon_thumright:

That is a killer SLQ! And congrats on the other keepers!
