Willy, do you sometimes ask yourself why you even bother to post so much here for free?

I ask myself this all the time.

I've come to the conclusion that it's fun to talk (write) about the hobby. Yep, part of the fun of the hobby is talking about it.

And too, a long time ago I came to the understanding that it's not so much what something is that matters, but it's what we think it is that really counts.

I mean, 100 years from now who's going to give a flip if a detector in 2008 got 6 inches or 12? For that matter, who really cares now?

We write what we write and that's just what everybody else does. Some agree, others don't, a few are just contrary because that's what blows their hair back.

See, it's all relative. What's 6 inches to you might be 12 inches to someone else.
