Final days in the water in 2007.............( lot's of pics )
.........yes, my friends, recently I spent the last days detecting in the lake. It's getting too cold for this ol' boy to be getting into the water around here.
Before getting there, I'd like to show you some pics of the good ol' midwest USA. There is some kind of quilting organization that has been decorating old barns with large murals in our area. Here's a few of dozens of examples:

Not only I can show buildings....but..how 'bout some neat ol' American vehicles:
OK...OK...back to the detecting. here's page 162 in my on going metal detecting scrapbook. It's a pic of the ol' yardhunter ( & the finds ) in the water one last time in October 2007:
I didn't have too much luck the last time. I found some common coins, a junk ring & lot's of assorted junk. I disassembled the TigerShark & put her back into the box for the winter. She didn't want to go,however, she finally went into the box a kickin' for sure!
Finally, here's a close up of the goodies found:
Since it's finally raining around here, it's time to get out the land detectors & start finding those oldies but goodies.
