Wow, where do I begin? I grew up as a kid watching the Twilight Zone. Rod Serling was certainly ahead of his time. In my opinion he was one of the most brilliant writers and story tellers of all time. I turn 64 on Friday, and his stories sent chills up and down my spine. Here is a list of some of my favorites.
1. Western episode with Lee Marvin, Strother Martin, and Lee Van Cleef of the phantom gunslinger bushwacked by the town.
2. Art Carney in the episode about Santa Clause and the bag he found.
3.The Cavalry is made up of Phantoms about the modern day reservists being at the site of the Little Big Horn.
4.The ventriloquist dummy (this one scared the life outta me when I was a kid.)
5. William Shatner in the episode of the passenger on the plane just recovering from a nervous breakdown that spots the monster on the wing just outside his passenger window destroying the engine on the wing of the plane.
This was a Great show. I still enjoy watching these old episodes. Good post.
