Favorite songs I was raised on

You brought back some old but good memories. Years ago I bought tickets to see the Doobie brothers at maple leaf gardens in Toronto. The warm up band that came on stage first was Lynyrd Skynyrd. They got everyone warmed up alright. By the time the Debbie Brothers came on half of the stadium was empty. I think the long version of free bird was enough to wear everyone out. Boy do I ever feel old now. Thanks. Lol.

When I was a tadpole, Country and Western was the only thing played at our house. Then one night our babysitter left us a radio to go to sleep by and the first song I found was this, and it has been a favorite since. I'm thinking of it being played at my funeral someday waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the road. Either this version or the one by the Ventures. Ventures were great also.

Time Won't Let Me is another top one on my list.

You're The One Good memories of my earlier teens

First slow dance I did with my wife, ( girlfriend at the time ), about 46 1/2 years ago. I am shy and I don't dance, but the band I was in announced over the p.a. that the next song, ( Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying ), was a dedication to my girlfriend and asked her to dance with me. I was horrified as the fellow band members cheered me on. Oh well, I survived it.

This was such a great hit. Has many memories too. :notworthy: kisspng-emoji-emoticon-smiley-vulcan-salute-salute-5ad9cc88d5d1e2.0348725015242231128758.jpg
