Favorite songs I was raised on

I always found it ironic to watch and hear hard rockers sing sentimental love songs. Not saying I didn't like them, just ironic. I suppose it's because I was raised on carooners dressed in suits. Lol.

just why are you up at 3 am missy?

Because I'm an old lady with a sleeping disorder. Runs in the family. Actually been up since 1:15.

Good Music

Bob Seger.

Hard to pick one.

Growing up in the 60s I was 12 years old in 1960 and I grew up during the "British Invasion" listening to groups like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, the Animals, the Doors, Moody Blues as well as Elvis, Roy Orbison, Beach Boys, 4 Seasons, Righteous Brothers, The Temptations, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Jeff Beck with Rod Stewart.

Southern Rock hit and growing up in the South I loved Southern Rock bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Wet Willie, ZZ Top and of course the Allman Brothers WITH Duane Allman.

In the early 1970s there was a huge bar in tampa called The Whipping Post and here is the song it was named after.

Kinda fast tune , but it plays in my head many times when I out Civil War Relic Hunting.

P.S. Eddie is a good guy.
