Farm field buttons knife and ??

I am thinking I see the buttons elsewhere on this site and they are trouser buttons The little pocket knife is forever shut lol and there are no markings I can see. Then the other 2 things were found about 5 feet apart in a pasture next to the field I was in. The tiny engraving say PAT P'D'G which I assume is Patent Pending. One has a R stamped on it with little dots along with what looks like some dilapidated hang man game scratched into it..and the other has the letter E scratched into it
Also found a dime that hasn't really been cleaned yet and it is mainly in the pic for size ref.
