Far stretch but 1982 D small cent

I assume you are referring to the one on the bottom? Have you weighed it?
 

I say the lower cent is sm date. The best way to check is to have several to choose from, cuz I'm sure not all will be sm dates.
 

I only believed the lower to be the small date, I placed a normal above for comparison.
 

It's a small date and it will be a zinc cent. Don't watch YouTube videos by uneducated individuals.
 

There is no normal date, just small and large. Two different varieties but both are common. The only rare one is the 1982 small date copper, two known to date.
 

The top one appears to be a large date copper and the bottom one a small date zinc (looks like zinc rot bubbles under the bust).


And as others have said it is the 1982-D small date copper that is the valuable one.
