These next two things are mystery items:

Have no idea what this is - found it on an old farmland. Any ideas?

I believe this to be two 18th century bullets stuck together over the years but thats a complete guess - am I close? It was found near the cent.

Way to go on that LC!!! It's a beauty for sure. I think I've only for 3 or 4 in 10 years. :icon_scratch:
That lead piece with the text is a bale seal. Here's some examples:

Not sure on the two things stuck together, but I don't think they are bullets. ???
Great post,
MM

Beauty! Gotta love large cents from the largest town in Massachusetts!

Congrats! That's really nice detail for a dug LC, and the rest of your finds are nice too.

Those 2 peices of lead togather could be what they mashed the lead seals out of, what ya think.

SWEET finds!!
Congrats on the LC.

Sweet large cent!

The lead object is a railroad boxcar door seal circa late 1800s. Not sure which railroad. There were several that ran from Chicago to San Francisco.

Awesome!

There's nothing like seeing a big old copper like that roll outta the dirt, eh?

That's a very cool old seal, BTW.

Your "two 18th century bullets" fused together definitely aren't. 18th century bullets were round musketballs. Those two thimble-shaped thingies are shaped more like 19th century Minie bullets, but they aren't that, either. I dunno what you have there. Not bullets, but... interesting.

I wouldn't say the other items are "lesser finds" ; those would be some of my "better finds"................very nice !!

The LC is beyond awesome. WOW.......to say the least. Congrats:icon_thumleft:

Man that L.C is in awesome shape ! Awesome scores
