fair ground prking lot

went to fair ground parking lot today.Didnt find much.3 clad quarters about 10 feet from my truck.Thought that i was in for a good day. went another2 feet found a clad dime.30 min. later found another clad quarter. Then i found a shell caseing about 5 inches long . military i think on bottom it had S L 43 .THE 43 IS THAT THE CALIBUR? And so found 5 zinc pennys. And the ever persitent pull tabs. Total time about 2 hrs.

DAY, 43 is the yr. made , Sounds like you found a WW2 era 50 cal. machine Gun round. trk5capt...
