Heres my deal guys I would like to build a small through put ball mill.

I see there a couple guys that are on here handy with metal, I was never blessed with the ability to work nothing more than sheet metal im a bender n banger, but when it comes to welding metal all I can do is burn it. just offering this to the folks on here not looking to have to go to town. Maybe we can work a deal?

PM me and we can talk thanks GT...............

Here is one that is easy to make.
Instead of him using a resister, all a person would have to use is a dimmer switch for a house light.

Here is one using a treadmill motor. You can find treadmills being thrown out all the time at curb sides.
Plus the speed control is included.

Search craigslist for cheap treadmills. Our thriftstores almost always have some for under $50.

And you don't really need any metalworking skills

The bearings that are being used in the second video with the red water jug are from a swamp cooler.
The sout or flap on the top is so they can be oiled. So are the pulleys. Inexpensive also.
If anyone needs any check Ebay or contact me and I can help you get them. The shaft also.

Very Interesting

Only he wants one that runs material thru the ball mill and continuously spits it out the other side. Or drops the sized material out of the system while running.

then all he needs todo is drill a bunch of holes the size he wants the material crushed to ,at the tail end of the crusher. the sized material will fall out.

Gold Tramp,
What size of a mill are you thinking about?
What power do you want to run it? 12volt, 110 volt, 220 volt.
Do you want mostly parts and you put together?
I would do it exchange for some good concentrates, also if you want to provide some of the materials, what ever would be beneficial for botrh of us.
I just built a miller table, am building a drywasher. Already built a 4 foot sluice.
Your size posted here would also help.

Thanks RR,
I think I just got caught up in the moment the other day with all the trominator talk and all the building of mining tools.
I was having delusions of grandeur, I will just stick with a cement mixer.
Thanks for the intrest all .
