My F70 is due in Monday 3/9 but some have told me I'd be wise to get that control box (meter pod) cover.

I've also heard that they use the F75 cover on the F70 but that it's not really right for the F70.

Anybody know anything about this?

Badger,

The way fisher lists it's part #s I can't really tell. I'll ask the next time I talk to them, unless someone answers first. Joe

P.S. - Are you going to get a SunRay probe for it?

Badger, Skypilot here! The display panel box on both machines are identical in size, BUT the '75, as you already know, has a knob and a button on the face, along with the trigger switch in front for the pinpoint /ground grab, and the F-70 has the flat "tactile" pushbuttons, which means you would have a hole in the cover of the'75 that you wouldn't need on the '70. Hope this helps! Regards, Richard.
