F5, Oh'Boy

Being for the most part, a Tesoro guy, I ordered my new F5, from Bart (fantastic) and just set it up.
I feel like I am going to have to learn to fly the Space Shuttle, but folks, I'm up to it. I been air testing for the last half hour and turning this and pushing that, now, the process to learn what it all means....Can't wait for spring.... Joe

Great pick on the F5!! It's not as hard as you think. I've been runnin mine for 3 yrs. What kind of huntin are you into? I have sum great settings I could share with you.Good luck and HH

Good luck with the F5! That is one I have been looking at also. What do you get on distance for air testing a dime?

I guess the best way to describe what I hunt for is ,,,,everything. I like to hunt old homesteads and have an area on the Kings highway (revolutionary) up here in NY I hit allot.
As for air testing I am getting a good 8 - 12 inches on quarter, wedding band which is gold and penny. LOL didn't have a dime when testing.. I hope when I hit the ground it holds decent depth.

Try GAIN-as high as you can, DISC-18 keeps the nails out, THRES-+3, TONES-3 GOOD LUCK!!

I just picked one up for 275.00 I am new to mding but have used a cheap radio shack one and found alot. Id be interested in knowing your setting to write down in my memo pad for future refrence if you have the time. Id apreciate it. Hoping i didnt bit off more than i can chew.
