Oh man, I tell ya, those surface finds never cease to impress me. I find buried curios detecting but all the really high value stuff I've ever found was right there laying on the ground.
As my girlfriend and companion in arms in the field likes to put it: lookit all the stuff you find on the floor!🤣 Stellar find man!

I would go back and recheck the trail....like we recheck our holes. There may be more blown into the brush along the trail.

I've found 10$ before there. Never 100$. Probably the drug dealers or sketchy cars that meet at back of the parking lot dropped it.
