Extremely large spoon? Trying to date old home site

I found this at an old home site which I am trying to date. Spoon is extremely large and broken and almost seems to have screws or sodered?? Any idea how old this would be?

I don't see any screws in your pics, but I assume it may have had a wooden handle covering the shaft(?). Looks like a serving spoon to me
