- White's Classic SLII and the E series DFX and the Minelab ExplorerII
MM and I went to several old properties. I took my brand spankin' new ExplorerII. We tried to find a lost class ring (for three hours) for a lady with no success. Then we hunted for the goodies.
We met a lot of really cool people along the way, and got invited back to hunt an old road from the 1600's. I'm not sure how it happened, but someone offered to give MM a jar of gold teeth, which he got very excited about.
Here's the stuff I found. The Barber quarter was really deep but the soil was sandy, so it was easy digging.
I like the Minelab a lot. It's the heaviest machine I've ever swung, but the DFX is pretty heavy too. I'll use the Minelab for deep old coins and the DFX for big ball fields. The SLII gets used for play sets and trashy spots.
Anyway. It was a blast! I swear, I was so tired at the end of this day I could not swing the Minelab one more swing. When I got home, I slept for 14 hours straight!
Thanks MM! That was an adventure!
Cheers!
