Has any of the rock been crushed and panned yet?
 

Lamination?

Some geologists refer to the mineralization within the gangue as lamination. That one spot up and to the left of center that has multiple dark lines running about 75 degrees to bottom left is a good example of multiple laminations in one rock. THere ares more in there for sure, all over that photo.

Interesting, when we speak of lamination in Sweden we're mostly referring to the (mostly thin) layers in a rock. Mostly used in sedimentary rocks.

Not everyone is determined to be 'Up to speed on geologists terms' so thank you for making more clear what you refer to SaltwaterServr. Yes this one agrees that is some good looking rock there.
Will a falcon type of metal detector make noises going to and away from some of the 'Targets' on rocks like this? Will one have to crush the rock and test pan to find out what values are in it?

Man definitely try to timber up the first few meters of that shaft...at that depth it will take nothing to kill. Great results tho!

Its done, its timbered up now. We did it just before the rains started, and they have started. Access to the mine when it rains is limited. But we are still working.

Even though our shaft is now 53m deep vertically we are working on the tunnel at 35m. The grades have been around 25g per 7 ton load at a stamp mill.

The mineralization is structurally controlled there is more gold the deeper one goes. Its just that at 35m there is no water, that is why for now we are working at that level.
