Hey everybody I had one of my best hunts ever, defineltly my best this year!! Two old houses were razed in an older section of town, spotted them while at work yesterday and thought tommorow I know what I'll hopefully be doing. Found 2 Mercury Dimes 1918D and 1919, 10 Wheat
Cents ranging from 1915 to 1952D, and the oldest Coin I have ever found an 1882 Indian Head Cent!! I know Indians aren't a big deal for most of you, but they seem to be rare around here as this is only the second one I have ever found, the other was a 1902 I found last October. It is also the only coin from the 1800's I have found and thus one of my metal detecting goals for this year has been reached!! Also found a little metal container that says Menny and James LTD. Sample IODEX C. Methyl SAL. Rub in until color disappears. New York Montreal London. A little Crown like a King's Crown picture is below with a dime beside it for size reference. 34 Clad coins, 47 coins total in about 3 hours hunting. Had a blast and hope you folks had as good a hunt as I did!! Pictures are below. Thanks for looking and HH, ps if you know anything about the Tin or the Crown please post a comment. Found out after originally posting this that the Tin of Iodex I found was a physicians sample from 1933.
