I have 2 of these machines....love them....as deep as an F75. I have 2 because I had to send one back in to have updates done to it....and so picked up another (SE) while the Cabelas version was gone. Got it back and then had to send the SE in for the same update...finally got it back. Now I don't need both since they are both updated and here....actually only wanted one but it is what is.
The difference between the two versions is only audio. The SE has modulated audio and the Cabelas does not.....simply put the SE target volume drops as the taregt gets deeper.
Personally I like the Cabelas audio for relic hunting as deep targets hit loud and the audio difference between tones 1 and tone 2 is ALOT easier to hear.
But can't keep em both and I use it mostly for cellar hole hunting with the stock 5" coil....so flipped a coin and the Cabel'as version goes.
Again this just got back from Fisher for full updates. Beware of new Gold Bugs people are dumping...if they have not gone back to Fisher for updates they almost surely have problems....all first run machines had to go back.
You will be amazed at how deep it will hit a coin with a 5" coil for such an affordable machine.
Comes with stock coil, original box and packaging.
