It's a drawer pull.If it's the size of mine it would not be big enough to be a door knob.And it would date purdy early 1700's.

Anything for a size reference, I would guess Knob for a old Manual choke!!!!

Looks like the metal part of a porcelain door knob, 1850's or later.

1)Not porcelain and not 1850.Seems how there was nothing else even close to 1850 at this site.
2)Not a door knob mine unless they were little drawf's maybe. No set screws or other wise.
