How long has it been since you had to buy a pod Bigscoop? Just curious. lol
Will an acrylic kit seal up what you got? I get the little fingernail kits in the cosmetics isle at wallyworld.
They cheap enough, and I don't have 700 yrs worth of product.
Good luck, maybe someone will chime in, or ask down in the dealer or brand section, too.

Have to check back at the house, I might be able to help.

I go through an end cap just about every year. Never had a problem finding them before. Typically I can see the cracks start but this time they just sort of showed up all of a sudden. Figure I'd better get one ordered again.

Bigscoop, you're in luck. I got an alkaline battery pack with a used Excal I bought last year and the body is cracked but the cap seems to be good. Send a pm if you want me to mail it to you.

Give OBN a shout. I am sure he has access to some.

For a temp fix clean cracks to get silicon off and filled cracks with super glue. or I second Search and Recovery......OBN

Fletch is going to fix me up. Talked to OBN and he's bone dry as well.

you are tightening them down too hard. i found this out. keep a good rubber seal. they dont need to be cranked down.just barely tight had one for 3 years now. brand new.

I believe you are correct. But it's pretty much a requirement here even with a good seal and sealant. Just no way to avoid the constant pounding if you're going to do much water hunting here. :BangHead: Wish it wasn't so.

I have Harold in Florida looking for the parts, I can make the endcap but need the pins, May have to go and make my own, something for this winter...these should last the life of the battery pod
