Interesting,I wonder if a metal detector was the first instrument used at this site, as the mob always wore big gold jewelry.You know, find a ring must be a finger attached,find a necklace gotta be a skull around here somewhere

Some metal detecting clubs have ties with the police. We have a retired Seargent that contacts a list of people whenever a crime scene is investigated for bullets or weapons. I know a fellow who noticed some freshly disturbed sod at a house being investigated, and he got an award for digging up a few kilos of coke and a wad of cash!

? ? ? I saw them using a Garretts on the TV show CSI the other day. Funny how now I notice the detectors used to search a person or the ground now.
? ? ? As an X cop myself I hope to be able to assist with metal detection as well as to get involved with heat sensors to help the officers search for suspects behind doors or in the bushes, etc....
