Evidence of bird hatching out

I walked out to my shop today, and under the cedar tree next to the driveway, there was a small white egg shell. I had no idea there would be birds hatching on March 3. I don't know what kind of bird it is, but I looked and looked and couldn't find the nest.

The nest would be up in this cedar tree.

Birds often take shells AND poop away from the nest.
