Ever go detecting while drunk?

I got lit during the Pats game yesterday.... I had a beer for every dropped pass. After they snatched victory from the hands of defeat, I had to get my beep on to settle down.... this is what I found...

A massive .50 caliber bullet with shell...that's a first... a nice 47 Washington silver, an earing, and a few wheats....special attention to the scar on the wheat...fail.


I wont go detecting under the influence any more...thanks for looking!

When I got permission from one of the neighbor farms years ago I was stewed. Walked over to his place and just did not have the concentration. Actually getting in a vehicle and driving... sorry Im not that irresponsible of a person. Id call a cab if I was that hard up to do some detecting. lol just drop me off in this field here.

I most sincerely hope that you had a sober pal that drove you to your hunt site and then back home. Otherwise you were lucky on several fronts.

I go out detecting 25% of the time drunk, 25% of the time sober and 50-100% high as a kite. I like smoking on a Bob Marley spliff and going out and GETTING IN!

I was waiting for this to come up.... I staggered to my permission, around the corner from my house. My CDL license allows me to walk drunk whenever necessary.
